On August 23^rd 2026 we released a new version of our GUI program CitizenCommands that now additionally supports file related operations and remote control of Citizen machines equipped with Mitsubishi controllers.

CitizenCommands.exe 9.0.0.0

File operation related features added in this version:

• Read folder content from all directories on Citizen Mitsubishi CNC’s
• Select NC-Program to be executed from a remote PC
• Open and display file content from the controller
• Delete NC-Program at the controller
• Copy files between CNC and PC

CitizenCommands now also enables remote control of your machine by its ability to send commands that have the same effect as pressing keys at the operator panel including:

• Switch operation mode
• Start and stop NC-Program

Of course you can also switch the controller to handle, jog, single block or reference mode from your PC.
